Beautiful Art Deco façade, built in 1928 by architect Van der Paal for his client Jules Wantz. It is inspired by the precepts of the Amsterdam School.

Red-brown bricks and natural stone form the basic elements.

Three levels and three bays under a flat roof, with a well-established central axis.

Beautiful brickwork on the bow window, treated vertically in recesses, as well as on the attic, crowned by a frieze of bricks laid in a herringbone pattern and cut natural stone.

The ground floor is also very carefully crafted, with a beautiful semicircular arched entrance door framed in stone carved with two figures supporting the bow window as consoles.

The figures are a woman with a child and a man with a staff. In pure Art Deco style, these sculptures were designed by the artist Frans Claessens.

The woodwork and ironwork are original, and the whole is in very good condition.
