Remarkable façade designed in 1937 by Karel Van Havermaet, on this avenue where Art Deco houses line up. This one caught our attention, with its astonishing concepts.

The architect plays with the horizontal aspects, but compensates for them with the sophisticated vertical span, pierced by a window and an oculus cut in two by a black ceramic column edged in gold.

The window on the first floor ends with a round shape, also separated from the rest by an identical column.

The balcony on the second floor, quite massive, is made of sculpted white stones and ends with a beautiful stone eagle as if standing on the edge.

At street level, on a massive hard stone base, the recessed door is decorated with elegant ironwork.

On the left is a three-part window decorated with beautiful stained glass.

The whole is in very good condition.
