Like its neighbouring house at number 24, this façade deserves our attention.
It was designed, like many houses in this street and in the city, by the architects Watershoot father and son.
They applied a particularly elaborate and very personal architectural vocabulary, as is the case here.
They placed particular emphasis on decorative elements: brickwork, window shapes, ironwork, very elaborate stained glass in all the windows, geometric shapes in the cut stones.
These principles can be found in many of their achievements until 1936, when Leander, the son, turned to more modest houses.
