The author of dozens of houses and villas in De Panne, Louis Legein left a remarkable architectural heritage there, testimony to this innovative and provocative period between the two wars.
The Tehtys house was part of a homogeneous group of buildings, which has now disappeared.
This house remains, three facades in yellow bricks, brown ceramics and cimorné (cement mixed with marbrite), on a simple rectangular plan.
Facade pierced with identical windows on the first floor and a loggia terrace on the second.
An impressive decoration is attached to the facade, made of horizontal concrete bands, crossed from bottom to top by a column crowned with a small old-fashioned boat.
The entrance porch is also topped with an imposing decoration pierced with an openwork window.
Garage door replaced.
The whole is in fairly good condition, taking into account the fragility of the original materials.
