A beautiful modernist house, inspired by the Amsterdam School, built in 1925 by Eduard Van Steenbergen for his own use.

The architect lived there until his death in 1952.

His son Edward junior lived there until 2003, the year of his death.

Three floors under a flat roof, symmetry, staggered volumes and beautiful masonrywork with raised joints.

During the last restoration (2023), the large stained glass window on the first floor and the stained glass window of the tympanum on the top floor were replaced.

A painted concrete canopy adorns the balcony on the second floor.

The whole is in very good condition and is currently being restored.

Listed since June 1988.
