A beautiful creation by the Bruges modernist architect Huib Hoste, this perfectly preserved and meticulously restored house dates from 1928.

It comprises a main section at the front and a rear section that originally housed the diamond cutting and jewelry-making workshops of the Jules Billiet company.

A perfect balance between horizontal and vertical lines is accentuated by the projecting, light-colored lintels and the tall red brick chimney that contrasts with the yellow bricks.

The facade is composed of yellow, black, and red bricks.

All the woodwork, in its original colors, is from the period.

The house is a complete work of art, as Hoste designed both the furniture and the wall decorations.

Remarkably restored, inside and out, the property is now a guesthouse.

The building has been listed since 1995.
