Interesting twin villas, designed in 1937 by the Ghent architect Fernand De Vleeshouder.
The two parts are perfectly symmetrical, separated by the central bay which bears the year of construction in sculpted letters typical of the 1930s, and which overlooks the two entrances facing each other under a concrete canopy.
The façade is very rhythmic between verticalities and horizontalities, accentuated by the overhanging cornice which connects the two entities.
The central bays of have twin oculi which break up a little the rigour of the whole.
Facade in yellow bricks on a base of red bricks.
The black ceramics which frame the windows on the ground floor accentuate the horizontality.
The low walls and ironwork surrounding the garden (very neat) were designed with the intention of harmonizing the style effects of the house with the exterior.
The whole is in good condition.
