Architect Waterschoot is the author of many Art Deco bourgeois houses in St Niklaas.
This one, created in 1930, has a particularly busy façade, starting with the overhanging cornice, in steps, resting on two consoles placed on fluted columns that run along the bow window of the main floor.
There are many windows, all decorated with spectacular stained glass with geometric designs.
The windows are all set back from the façade, which gives a little more rhythm to the volumes.
The entrance door, very small, is also surrounded by fluted columns and topped with a crenellated tympanum.
A real curiosity! The house is in an excellent state of preservation.
