  • Engels Guillaume

Small terraced house with sophisticated architecture, designed in 1932 by Guillaume Engels.

Three levels and two bays. A traditional ground floor, a recessed entrance door under a small canopy, and a window with three openings. Two small sculpted monkeys (probably not originally painted) support the canopy.

The tympanum is decorated with a geometric stained-glass window.

The same design is repeated in all the stained-glass windows. The doorway is decorated with mosaics, likely reflecting the intention of the person who commissioned "Mon RĂªve".

The first floor consists of a pointed bay window, decorated with a stylized stork, and a beautiful vertical stained-glass window. Beautiful brickwork runs along the entire facade.

Large overhanging cornice. The woodwork appears to be original. The whole property requires some restoration.

Listed in the legal inventory since August 2024
