An integral part of the Flagey project (former INR) designed in 1938 by Joseph Diongre, Le Variétés restaurant represents a superb Art Deco testimony miraculously preserved.
The gilded exotic wood paneling, the parquet floors, the furniture (partly reconstructed) form a harmonious, warm, aesthetic whole.
However, we do not know the exact period of the execution of this beautiful decor, some think that it dates from the 50s.
If we compare it with the interior spaces of Flagey, we nevertheless note many similarities, to be continued... any useful information would be welcome.
