Large corner house designed by architect Gaston Eyselinck, built by Prosper Buyck, for his clients Edmund and Rosa Van Waes.
Originally, it was a haute couture house "Huis Rosa", with reception and fitting rooms.
The style is very representative of the modernist style of the interwar period.
Yellow bricks for the facades formed by large outgoing cubist volumes.
Large openings allow light to enter. Two large openings over the entire height of the two facades (front and side) illuminate the stairwells.
Open terraces are part of this beautiful project.
Fortunately restored by an intelligent architect, the building has regained all its former splendor and was listed in 2005.
