The author of several villas in Koksijde, Vanmarke, an architect from De Panne, designed this modernist villa in the 1930s.
We find all his characteristics there, alternation and play of large volumes, imposing curves, pointed pediments accentuated by the play of colored bricks in inverted points.
Use of concrete and granito for the rounded parts.
The steeply pitched roofs in green glazed tiles are a bit of a novelty compared to the other houses where the flat roof dominates.
The house is in very good condition, and is on the list of protected monuments.
